About Grounded Electric

Grounded Electric is a husband-and-wife-owned and operated electrical company proudly serving the greater Sacramento area. Founded by second-generation electrician Tim Kukuruda and his wife, Chelsey, Grounded Electric was built on a simple idea: provide quality electrical work while treating customers the way we would want our own family to be treated.

Together, Tim and Chelsey have built Grounded Electric from the ground up. Tim brings more than 15 years of hands-on experience in the electrical trade, while Chelsey helps keep everything running behind the scenes—from customer communication and scheduling to the day-to-day operations of the business. What started as a small family business has grown into a trusted team of electricians serving residential and commercial customers throughout our community.

From troubleshooting and electrical repairs to panel upgrades, EV chargers, lighting, remodels, and commercial projects, our goal is to provide safe, reliable, and professional electrical solutions while maintaining the personal service and accountability of a locally owned company.

As a husband-and-wife team, Grounded Electric is more than a business to us—it's something we've built together, and our name and reputation are behind every job we complete. We believe in honest communication, dependable service, quality workmanship, and building long-term relationships with the customers and communities we serve.

When you call Grounded Electric, you're not just another appointment on the schedule. You're working with a local family-owned company and a team that genuinely cares about the work we put our name on.
